Personally I'm happy with my truck. It cost nothing, is worth nothing but gets me from A to B. :) I find people appreciate things more if they work for them anyways... so in the long run it'll be her lose.

Well, I'm Canadian..but a G2 is basically your "final license". First you get your G1 which allows you to like, drive on city streets with a licensed driver in the car, and then once you take driver's ED and pass your final test and whatnot, you get your G2.

I'm just sorry I had to claim ownership of this dump :D. This place reminds me of a beloved car project with terminal rust. No matter how much work you put into it, it's still going to be a pile, but you keep going back to work on it like a glutton for punishment.

Yeah it's not fair that she has a cool car, but I bought a new Chevy Cobalt LT and my parents let me drive the custom Ford Expedition that nobody else uses, so I effectively have 2 cars. Now just think for a minute how absolutely cool that must be for someone to have a kickass car when they are 16 and have a new license. My cars are by no means fast like an Evo, but they are my personal definition of what I wanted (nice color, nice ride, good on gas, good sound system). So before you claim it's not fair, which I realise it is not, you have to think about how excited she would be to get a car like that and then realise that these kinds of situations will be around he rest of your life. My friend Kevin has a Jaguar XK8 in dark blue, now if you want say something about unfair I think an $80,000 Jaguar is somewhere near the top, but instead of saying it's not fair I just realise the Cobalt is what I drive and the XK8 is what he drives and there is no way to change it, but I do joke with him every now and then that we should race!
