In america there actually thongs and our V strings so the skank ones that just have a few ties, dont cover anything. Thats a g string. So thongs are underwear and g strings in america are.. lingerie

g strings in the back are literally strings with something attached to them at the top where the top of your ass crack is (usually a triangle of cloth or a jewelish thing)...,.i cant really explain them, but yeah thongs have more coverage

The type of underwear you wear doesnt show maturity, thongs/g-strings are to hide panty lines, and i think people forget what their purpose is in the first place.

In America, we call a g string a g string. The only people who call them v strings would be perhaps designers or stores (ie. Victoria's Secret). Thongs are thongs. Underwear is underwear. Really, there's no difference.

Go For A Thong if your getting one just to say you have one..
