well as in my other threads in this part of the forum im going to a party in like 2 weeks anyway im thinking about getting my hair chemically straightened can anyone tell me any information on it. i would normally just straighten it but it jus goes wavy and i don't want it too!! lol so if u ave any tips on how to keep my hair straight with out chemicals much would be appreciated xxx

One of my friends (who has really thick, wavy hair) tried to do it at home and nothing happened. The same girl's mum had hers done at the hairdresser but I don't think she was too happy with it.

The stupid bit about it is that if it works, you'll have straight ends and the regrowth will be frizzy... at least that's what I think! Maybe try asking your hairdresser about how it will go on your hair.

I`ve gotten my hair permenantly straightened.
But, I don`t have really wavy hair.

& I permed my mom`s hair.
She didn`t like it, so I straightened it out again.
It worked.
