Hey all, i havent been on teenspot for ages and see its had a revamp-looks good but i kinda feel alienated from it now if you know what i mean...?
anyway back on topic:
I went to see Hot Fuzz the other day and after it being hyped up and hearing my bro tell me that his teacher said it was 'f*cking funny' i decided this wasn't one to miss lol.
I will admit now that when watching films i am not easily amused but this film didnt help with that, well for the 1st hour or so.
I honestly saw this film, for the first part, as a gimicy action movie with a few giggles but generally more of a very soft thriller lol. There are some gruesome killings which follow up from Shaun Of The Dead which were to be expected. However, the last half an hour or so was brilliant. I had plenty of laughs and especially when a gun-weilding old lady got fly kicked in the face by a copper lol-brilliant!!
To round off a short view on the film i have to say that movie buffs and 'geeks' will find this film a lot funnier thn 'normal' people like myself. There are jokes that only an enthusiast of this kind of film would get and really i would not call myself that.
All in all this film was fairly dissapointing and even though the last parts cracked me up i have to say i wouldnt pay to see this film again.
I rate it 3.5 / 5.

p.s. it's always great to see a new british film come out and because i am english myself i had to see it seeing as the patriot i am lol. I am not denying this movie is a piece of filming genius, is well-acted and expertly directed but it just doesnt push my buttons.......

YOUR REVIEWS AND COMMENTS WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED :)

I love it.

I've seen it twice now, and I must admit the first time I was a little bit disappointed since it didn't measure up to Shaun of the Dead for me. Admittedly, it was still a fantastic film, but I didn't fall in love with it the way I did with SotD. Second viewing though and I think I'm hooked. I pretty much adore anything that Edgar Wright who directed it was involved with.

AND it had two Bill Baileys. :O That was pretty cool.

Just came home from seeing it.

I have a new favorite film, its name, is Hot Fuzz. I laughed at everything, even the little things.

I am glad they had some "Shaun of the Dead" echoes in there (Jumping over the fence, "The pub", Cornetto etc)

All in all, best film i have seen since Snakes on a Plane.
