okay, i know i'll probably get a lot of crap for this, but i'd appreciate if you only reply if you actually have something useful to say...
i was wondering if anybody knew about how much you make from modeling for abercrombie or stores similar to that. and also, how old can you be to model for the kids store, because abercrombie and fitch modeling is very revealing...
thank you!

It's up to your agent to negotiate the pay rate for their models who get booked for those kind of shoots. for big brand names like that, they usually pay either a flat rate or an hourly rate, which can range anywhere between $125-$150 an hour or $150-$2,000 a day.
The pay scales are never the same so it really depends on what your agent agrees with the company on. If you are a model who is on the rise, then the pay will significantly increase. The higher rates usually apply in the event of special occasions and depends on the company/market's interest in the model being used.

The people working in the store wouldn't know anything about that.
Also, I definitely read the thread title as "abercrombie modeling gay?" And I said to myself, "Sure is."

I am not sure how much they pay. One of my cousins modeled for Aeropostale and they made $3000 dollars a shoot. She stopped modeling though a few months ago she said it's actually pretty hard because you have to do everything exactly how they want you to all the way up to the way your fingers are positioned.

I knew someone who had a friend who modeled for Abercrombie, he said that the guy got $800 a shoot, plus they paid for his plane tickets and hotel costs for him to fly to the photo shoot.
And yeah, you have to work in the store before you can apply for a modeling job. Or so says the website.

A friend of mine was one of the guys who stood shirtless outside the store, if you call that modeling. He said it only paid $9 an hour.
