Okay, I just want to make sure I'm not the only person who thinks this way. I think leggings can be really cute--with skirts, dresses, long shirts, etc. But I am not a fan of when people wear a shirt that's regular length with spandex and NOTHING ELSE. So that you can see all of the spandex and the shirt's not overlapping at all. I felt violated just looking at this girl I saw at lunch...it didn't help that the pant-spandex were CHEETAH-print!! I mean come on!:eek:

I agree. If I wore leggings/a shirt and nothing else, I would almost feel naked. Of course, I've had a friend who wore leggings to school-they were hot pink. DX Not the best thing to wear by themselves. I was traumatized.

I think girls look trashy with just leggings. They look cute with a skirt though usually.

I think that if people want to wear leggings they should. I'm not a fan of them, though.

I could think of a few people who could pull off leggings and a regular shirt, and look sexy. But it would be rare; most people (with normal body types) would just look trashy and unflattering. There's a reason most people don't just wear unitards around...most people look better with clothes on.

More than anything... leggings don't flatter anyone's ass... and i too feel violated when someone walks past me in leggings and a normal length top..

My crazy mother used to dress me and my sisters in them. Imagine the sight, three little girls dressed in pink leggings and lime green barbie shirts.

Agreed, I saw these two girls outside of A&F with a tee and tights... They were normal sized, which means that they were XXL in tights, lol

and legigings by themselves look groos. i wouldn't evn wear them around the house by themselves.
but some people in rare ocassions look good with a long shirt and leggings, it's very rare.

Because I think yesterday or the day before I saw a girl with cheetah print on and no long shirt but she was [no offense] very big [/no offense] so it wasn't flattering.
I think people should wear it if they put it off though, i wore these black ones and they looked real cool on me, i loved it! it's really hard for everyone to pull off though, it all depends of the shape and porportion of your lower region. Other people have tried it and just didn't look the same way I did in em.

Very very skinny people [ mary kate olsen for example ] look great with just them on and a long shirt. And same goes for really skinny people.
But with the "normal" body type and above do not look so great in them.
It irks me so much when people wear just them and say a hoddie over it.

I wear just black half length leggings and a red singlet for excercise...I don't really see the problem with it. If I'm going out I'll wear them with a long strapless top or mini skirt.

but they are pajama pants.
i don't think leggings look good with skirts, let alone wearing them as pants.
