I've wanted to get the Aerosmith 'wings' symbol done as a tattoo for ages now.

I'm planning on getting it next week on my lower back. Now my questions is, whether you think getting a band tatto is a good idea or not, would it look better as just the outline or colour filled? I'll be getting it done in black, not yellow like the picture is... that's just my size reference I'm taking with me for them to trace (gonna take a print-off).

Personally, I wouldn't get a band tattoo. It looks okay though, I think you should get it colour filled and if you were going to, what colour?

Just black... I like plain black ones best.

Well, I'm going with my mate on monday to get a price quote and if the parlour isn't busy then I'll probably get it done then too...

Ehhhh, I wouldn't get that if I were you. BUT if you realllllllllly like the band and everything... I guess you can. I'm just one of those people who's really against getting band names and name as stuff tattooed on.

I would not get a band tattoo.
But if you love them and they have special meaning to you and you think that in many many years' time, you can still look at the tattoo and like it and remember that meaning and enjoy it, then go for it.
I think it would look very nice outlined in black and filled in with like a dark grey, actually. Or even with the wings or the word 'Aersmith' filled in with red. Black will be nice too though.

o many people have that.. i personally think they look crap butits upto you.
