I have seen various ads for this movie on the internet, so I checked out the website. It looks like a great film, based on a true story, but I am dying to know who the hell they are talking about. All they ever mention is he's the "most profilic serial killer in history" and "he has claimed over 300 victims". Anyone have a clue as to who this film is based on?

I didn't know any serial killer had ever killed that many.
