Happy New Year everyone!

Yesterday I downloaded WMP 11 and for some reason I can not play any audio through the player. I tested through other players (Winamp, Jetaudio, etc) and it works. I made sure everything was not muted, checked plugins and settings and still nothing.

Anyone else have this problem or have any solutions?

Do the files play with no sound or do they not play at all or what?

It is working alright for me.
Perhaps as lethal7 said, reinstall it, and see if it works from there.
The probable reason as to why it isn't working, is because it is made by Microsoft...

I had WMP 11 for awhile- it seemed to be really buggy, like everyone else said, try to reinstall...

It is actually playing but without any sound. Hmm...I guess I'll just have to reinstall when I get the time.

It could also be you need a media codec for your player. Google something like "WMP11 codecs" or something. theres alot of codecs though- so you might want to try to find out what one you need first.
