do you buy clothees just to wear the label...(hollister,abercrombie, AE) or just because you think it looks good on you?

Personally, I don't like feeling like a walking billboard and having A.Eagle posted across my chest.
I go for things that make me look good (the few things that do)

I only wear expensive labels when it comes to jeans, and only because they are really well made.

Because it looks nice. I don't have much designer clothes.

i wouldn't just buy something just because it has the ae or abercrombie logo on it. i buy clothes if they look nice.

It depends sometimes when I'm at A&F or HCo I'll buy something just because it has the little logo even if I don't like it that much or it fits weird but often times I'll put it back.

As for Designer clothes, I have to admit I buy for the label a lot. Like I have this ugly pair of Dolce & Gabbana sunglasses and they look dreadful on me so I'll just put them in my hair where they look good. lol they had a nice red logo on the side and reds one of my favorite color.

And I do buy those D&G/Emporio Armani/Versace logo tees and such even if I think they look ugly. And designer jeans well if I find a pair I really like or they are on sale then they are coming home with me.

lol so I guess I'm a semi-brandwhore!

I mainly wear clothes because of the fit an how they look on me.
I have shirts from AE, Aero, Wal-Mart, Sears, Goody's, etc.
My pants are a different story though.
I only get my pants from Goody's or AE.
They are the only brands that fit me real good.

All my clothes have Nike, Reebok, Mitchel & Ness, Majestic or Jordan on them so I guess you could say I'm all for lables

I buy clothes because i like the way they look. I'm more than happy to wear stuff from thrift shops, if i like the way it looks.

Actually.. i sort of have a personal policy of not wearing clothes with name brands all over them. I don't advertise.

The way i see it.. if people are going to wear clothes that advertise a company, the company should be paying them to wear it. NOT the other way around.

Depends i hate the big mall stores like AE but A&F is okay. I usually wear what looks good. I wouldnt get like just anything though im not a walmart shopper. I tend to shop designer since there are some good stores where i live that you can get that kind of stuff and NYC isnt to far away. So i generally go for Label but it has to look good.

I buy clothes to look hot, nothing more. No need to wear something like American Eagle if it isn't me, cause if it doesn't come to my standards than no way. I'm too good for that crap.

I just wear whatever is appealing to me.

whatever has a different touch 2 it, that ppl will come 2 me and be like wow thats a really cool shirt, pants etc. not something that everyone has and looks the same (like abercrombie clothes)

i'll be walking along and just pick up things that catch my eye eg. colour design whatever is visually appealing to me, and then the second test is: does it fit/ does it look good on me? so i try it on and usually it will fit and if it does i can't leave the store without buying it.

...so appearance deffo.

the way they look on me. i dress pretty simple though. i actually think have labels all across your boobs or chest trashy.

I don't wear clothes that aren't a top designer label, it's just the way I've always been. However that doesn't mean I buy clothes that I dislike, just because they have a label on it. I just search for designer clothes that I like and then buy them.

If I wanted to be a clone i would shop at those stores but i much rather my style in stead of someone elses idea of fasion.

just to wear what i think looks good on me. i don't just wear whatever's "in".

I wear what looks good on me, whether it's expensive [although I don't have a lot of expensive clothes except from American Eagle] or just looks good. You can get cheap clothes and accessories at Kohls that are cuter than some things you can get at Hollister or Abercrombie.

eh, i'm not much into name brands. I've gotten a few AE shirts that I thought were cute, but I only wore them once or twice because I don't like the way they fit me. i'm not exactly delicately built.

I buy American Eagle because I like the style. It's nice, comfortable, and decent. I love their look. I don't just shop there because it's American Eagle, if I find nice clothes somewhere else then I buy it.

I buy what looks good on me & my body.
Hollister is pretty much my fav store.
I love the way the clothes fit me.

I go for the way the look on me.

Labels are fine if they're already there, but I won't drop a shirt for not having a label.

And for people who are walking advertisments...you're just fucking tacky.

I buy whatever clothes that looks good :D Of course labels are kinda important because you dont want to buy something and then find out they sell it in walmart or something, lol, now that would be a nightmare

I'm anti-lables. Especially that abercrombie and holister crap. Too generic. Everyone who thinks they're cool are wearing them. I only know one person who isn't preppy or slutty or irritating that wears that garbage. Even then, she's a bit iffy.

well lets see
i'll buy something from abercrombie if its cute
but if they had the same thing at like walmart or something, i'd buy it at abercrombie still
because i love the name
and i love the feel of their clothes

i buy designer for quality and because i have trendy chic taste.
i mean, you're not gonna find a handpieced leather bag at buckle or something.
i love free people because it's quirky and unique, joes jeans because they're well-made and fit great, and chloe because it's glamorous but still fun

and i love shopping at boutiques cause things are often hand dyed or stitched and come in limited quantities so i'll be sure to get a unique look thats still lets me channel my favorite celeb/icon of the moment

ohh and of course i only get designer coats because i don't really like fur, so the only good fauxs out there cost a bundle. the cheapest decent one i saw was $200 at white house black market and that one was still very... mediocre

i don't mind labels. i buy clothes if they look nice, tho.
