does anyone have it done/know any one who has it done?
is it painful/comfortable etc
i think it looks different from a plain lip piercing and i'm thinking about getting it done

I had one last year.
It was a pretty good piercing.
I had to learn to drink things differently though.
And it got snagged on my upper teeth once or twice.


But I say go for it.

I think they look nice as long as the guage isn't too big. I assume they hurt. I have just a normal lip piercing and it kind of hurt.

Well yeah it hurts, its a needle going through your skin.

It doesn't hurt as bad as you'd think...
When I got mine done, I was all worked up about it and everything, then the guy put the needle through.
It hurt for a split second, then I didn't feel anything until he moved the needle out and slid the jewerly in.

I think for anyone who plans to get a piercing, you should look it up on www.youtube.com

some people have great videos, and it helps people relax when they know what's going on (or what SHOULD be going on, if you get a shitty piercer you'll know, and can tell him no way jose)

my friend is getting her snakebites done liek that. most piercers should know how to do it.

i've had one before and loved it.
it did hurt more than a side or normal middle lip piercing (had both of those too).
it really didn't scar badly, and i think it looks great on some people and not so great on others.
i did chip my teeth on it though.. but then i chipped my teeth on the side lip piercing too.
just have to be careful.

hmmm its a terrible piercing. hopfully this thread isn't so old that u'v already done it. But yeah i got this done about 4 months ago and had to take it out. Since its going throgh your lip it seems to migrat alot. so it may look good for a few months, maybe even years, but in the end it won't work out. So i suggest you ask your peircers opinion before you spend your money on it.

it actually doesn't scar bad at all.. i was only left with a tiny spec under my lip, which is now covered with my new lip ring!
