If you like it ... then wear it, as long as you have the confidence to carry it off

I'm actually covering lots of skin, so it's not fleshy. If I remove the skirt then yes it is.

I like everything but the shoes and the dress. I'd probably wear the brown skirt with a long sleeved black V-neck, bare legs and black pumps.

I LOVE that outfit. I'm really into creating flamboyant outfits and I think it looks awesome. It's something I would definitely wear.

and you plan to wear this to a school dance?
i think it's first of all too much of one color, and reminds me of the 80's (not in a good way).
maybe try something less gothic and more modern?

Yes I am, and what's wrong being gothic and vintage?
Maybe it is one too much color, perhaps green too. Like green highlights, and bright green eye shadow to match with the picture on the dress. And green bracelets.

i think you will look awesome, don't listen to the clones... i'd probably wear it without the skirt though or take it up and in since the dress is fitted but what ever is good for you... the outfit is well put together, i'd deffo wear it. have fun.

Yeah, I'm just thinking it be too much skin showing and too sexy for a school. I'm planning to wear deep red lipstick and tons of eye shadow and mascara. My hair is golden blond, just to give you an idea. And a bunch of gold necklaces.

i think its too much all together and the dark colours could make it look bulky and look too solid

people aren't dissing it because they're "clones," they're dissing the outfit because it sucks. the dress looks like a gross old t-shirt, the skirt is way tacky and outdated and doesn't match. the tights and shoes are something i would expect to see on a hooker. and the gold necklace would totally clash- how can you put something as beautiful as gold on something as ugly as that.
and i read your thing about makeup. hun, unless you're a supermodel doing a photoshoot or runway, you will look sooo trashy with heavy eye makeup and lip makeup. do one or the other. ohhh and people havent wourn thick eyeshadow since about 1988, except for such modeling exceptions.
stop trying so hard to stand out and be edgy when you clearly have not taste or sensse of style with which to pull it off.
