i know what it is, and well i wouldent advise it
it KILLS your hair and a lot falls out (mighteven cause permenant hair growth problems)
and it smells like dirty fish ;)
and it ususaly only last for a week or three...
(at least what i've seen)

My boyfriend got it done, cost about $600, and is pretty much permanent i think. And he had really curly hair, now it dries dead straight.

Well just wanted to say that.

But anyways I heard it's bad for you and doesn't last long. I want to do it, but only if it's done right, but sense someday I want to be curly I wouldn't do it.

a couple of my friends have it done once a year and it looks ok but i think hair with a bit of a natural wave is sexy.

it doesnt make it completely stright but close enough. my sister got it done last year and it seemed to help her pretty well...

Bull shit. Maybe you have really crappy salons where you live, but my friend got her hair straightened and she had BRUTAL curly hair. Like afro hair. She got it chemically straightened and its straight and silky(really thick, tho) and she got it done like a couple months ago. Her hair is still straight. And it wasn't anywhere near as expensive as people are saying.

I had it done a while ago, like in middle school, but it didn't reallly make it completely straight. Besides, I like being able to have my hair curly or straight.
