I have the same T zone problem. :( I just wash my face often, use witch hazel as an astringent day and night and stay away from heavy face creams for the oil control.

Use baby powder in your hair when it starts looking greasy it absorbs the oil and don't use conditioner any more if you have been. For your face try and find a cleanser for oily skin and if you must wear make-up or powder find on especially for oily skin.

Same problem. You want to make sure that the brush you use on your hair DOESN'T spread the oil in you hair from roots to ends. In fact, if you can, avoid putting greasy hair on your face. I have natural curly, frizzy, thick hair*NOT GOOD COMBINATION!!!_:eek: so I straighten it. THe heat from the straightener takes off some of my grease but I am not saying it will work for you too. I have combination skin so I get something like Olay with witch hazel, extremely important for your skin. Use acne pads to get all the grease off your face before you wash your face*it helps. Wash your face three times a day and soon you'll most likely see results.

A lot of reports tell you to wash your face a lot - which isn't always true. The rest of the reports tell you to only wash your face twice a day, if possible - which isn't always possible. If the glands in your skin which make the oil are overly active, make sure you don't wipe your face with a towel because although it removes the oil it stimulates the glands into secreting more. As someone said above, curly, frizzy, thick hair is not a good combination! I share their troubles, and straighten my hair too. My skin isn't particularly oily and I don't need to do very much as far as maintenance goes but a lot of the time products only make things worse. I would recommend going natural for a while, don't use make up and take showers regularly and wash your face in the morning and the evening with a good quality wash that is for oily skin. If that fails, visit a doctor or get on with your life and it might just go away with age..

Seeing as I have oily skin and hair maybe I can help you. Well for your face I suggest using a cleanser for oily skin and using a astringent (toner) to get rid of excess oil and dirt that can clog your pores and lead to breakouts. I use L'Oreal Pure Zone. They have the 3 Steps...Cleanser, Astringent (toner), and Moisterizer. Seeing that you have oily skin you might not want to use the Moisterizer all the time, just use it when you feel that you skin is getting a little dry in some areas. But the Cleanser and Astringent (toner) I suggest using twice a day. Also you might want to get some oil absorbing sheets that absord excess oil without taking off your make-up, Clean & Clear make them and they work wonders. Also you might want to use a exfoliating scrub or mask to get rid of the excess oil and refresh your skin and rid it of any impurities. You only want to use this once a week though so it doesn't irritate your skin and make it really dry. As for your oily hair I suggest using a Shampoo and Conditioner that is made especially for oily hair, Herbal Essences and Garnier Fructise are good ones. If you have brown hair you might want to try John Frieda's Brilliant Brunette Volumizing Shampoo which will make your hair have more volume and body, and Brilliant Brunette Light Reflecting Conditioner, that makes your hair smooth and shiney. Combined they work really well. It's what I use and it works really well for me and I hope it works well for you too.

Hope I helped.
