Hey guys. I'm going to a wedding in about 2 weeks. I have a black dress in mind, but I'm not sure if black is appropriate for a wedding. If so, what color heels and what kind of accessories should I wear with it?

People wear black to weddings. wear simple plain shoes with it, a cute little black clutch back and very simple jewellery,,, nice black beads might look good.

No offence, but I don't think black is really the best colour for a wedding. I like the dress though - maybe you could find one similar in a pastel colour like lilac?

If the Bride and Groom don't say black is ok, then it is best not to wear it. Unless you know they don't get touchy about what is traditionally appropriate.

i like that dress but maybe you should wear something more colorful.
