I choose Letterman. Jay could probably teach American comedy at Harvard, but Letterman always has more fun. My ideal line up is Letterman, then Conan. Fuck Carson, Kimmel, and The Scottish Guy.
Letterman has always been the better host, Leno is a sell out and a shill, any Howard Stern or Bill Hicks fan can tell you Leno's ripped off more sketches and ideas from those two than Tarentino has ripped off ideas from Russ Meyer (if you understand that joke then you are officially a film geek.)
i saw O'Reilly on Letterman, and that was interesting, it didnt really give me much more respect for Letterman, O'Reilly is an easy target considering Letterman's demographic, and he knows that. Dave did what Jon Stewart refused to do when O'Reilly was on HIS show because as i said before, the man is an easy target when you consider demographics, and stewart is more credible than that.

It's Letterman for me, too. He has more of what I call classy humor.

Plus Paul is a better sidekick than Kevin and John combined (Ed Hall was cool though)
