I posted this thread after seeing an old Treehouse of Horror and mistaking it for the new one which is on now, lol. I'll be watching it now, lol

yeah i'm watching it myself. The Simpsons is in the same boat of SNL. they had a fantastic writing staff that got pulled to other projects, and now it's lame and just not as well written in general.

Though I still love The Simpsons to death, the new stuff is shit when compaired to the classic stuff. Though I think it is begining to get better again.

The Simpsons continues to crack me up, but not as much as the older episodes.

agreed. I almost cant stand SNL anymore and I've been watching it for years. So far the only thing that has made me laugh was Kenan Thompson portraying Mrs. Buttersworth as a terrorist.

Older episodes were slightly better -treehouse of horror being my favorite ones- but, I still love the simpsons

The Tree House of Horror ones are brilliant. It's just too bad that The Simpsons has laxed it's comedy a bit. But I must say, a bad Simpsons episode, is worth ten awsome SNLs.
