What do you peeps think about giving yourself a Brazillian Wax at home? They're very pricy in the salon and they sell at home wax kits in the stores. Shaving is a hassle and doesnt last long enough.
Any Comments Welcome

you'll never be able to reach the necessary areas yourself and after a few rips you wont be able to inflict that kind of pain on yourself

You wont be able to rip it yourself...not the right way anyway.
Trust me, I've tried.

Don't, just don't.
Have it professionally done.

No... you shouldn't. It's risky. You need a professional.

its way expensive at the salon, and shaving down there leaves you stubbly and gross, not to mention the razor bumps. I thought i would jus be able to do it at home?

It is best not to shave it everyday. Let the hair grow a bit before you shave it again. You may not like the sound of it, but trust me it is much better.
Are you shaving against or with the hair grain? That can make a difference too.
And one last thing. If you are planning on shaving (Down there) It also helps to sit in warm water to soften the hair up, and it opens pores so that it is easier to come out with a clean non bumpy shave...

I don't see where it would be that difficult? I bought the waxing kit already, and just plan on taking really small sections of hair at a time.

Save up. Trust me, that's not the kind of thing you want to be showing your doctor when you go get pain medication...

better yet, make an investment and have it lasered....you will save a lot of pain and money in the long run

After you rip the first strip, you'll hardly want to rip the rest. Really, salon is the best way to go.
Lasering? I wouldn't do that. Do you really think at 80+ years old you'll like to look down everyday and see how saggy/wrinkled your hair free bikini line is? Probably not.

^You'd rather see gross, grey, wiry hair sprouting from there?
I'd rather have it off, thanks.

1.i'ld rather not be hairy and wrinkly
2.You are gross and old anyways, might as well enjoy your youth hair-free
3. I will never be wrinkly!!!

I have had it done at a salon. There is no way I could do it to myself. You will not reach all the parts of your body and it will hurt too much. The pain is OK with some one else doing it, but I would not have the courae to do it to myself. Much safer as well to get a prefessional to do it.
It is well worth it though.

Ok. If I should just save up and get the waxing done at the salon, how often do most people have to go in for the brazillian to keep it maintained.
