Okay, so I got a ConAir Hair Straightener for about $40+. Except my hair is superrr curly, so obviously the outcome was anything but great & I know, stupid part on me for buying such a thing. So, do you guys think that with really curly hair, the smart thing to do is buy a professional hair straightener for $100+? & would any of you have recommendations? Anything's appreciated.

I have wavy hair, its not super curly but I bought a professional hair straightener for only $90, its pure ceramic, everyone think's i use an actually iron on my hair cause my hair looks poker straight. Well it only cost me $90 cause my friend is a hair dresser and she got deals on it but normally this one costs about $200. It's totally worth it to buy a professional one cause they last longer than the ones you can buy at Wal-mart.

Get a Chi. They are fantastic.

My hair is naturally straight, but my friend uses one to turn her fro of curls into pin-straight hair.

Maybe you're not using it right?
But, yeh, I'd say you need a more professional one.

O.O Wow Hair Straighteners are really expensive for you people. Here, the most expensive one (and the best, I have curly hair and it works perfectly) costs less than $50.
