ok, so i havent dressed up (like nice, like suit or something) in a while, and i dont have but like a navy/black sport coat, and a button up shirt, its kinda blueish, would it look completly stupid to wear jeans with this? because thats all i have

It depends how neat the jeans are and how dressed up you want to be. Jeans make it much more casual looking.
