Okay, I usually have a pretty heavy flow. I haven't found any pads that I'm very happy with. I usually end up having to change pads every one or two hours. Does anyone want to recommend some pads that have worked well for them?

Yes, try ''Always''. They are probably the best.

You're supposed to change pads every one or two hours.

Libra are quite good.

but yes. You should be changing your pad every one to two hours. You will get a strong odour if you dont and its quite unhygienic to be sitting in...bodily fluids for a long amount of time.

I use a divacup now (only have to be change every 7 hours or so..google it, I don't know the website off the top of my head). I used to use always.

Oh, I know. It's just that I get my period while I'm at school and the teachers don't let us go to the bathroom.

I have a little time inbetween classes?

Always Ultra Thins are good, they're what I use occasionally, I like tampons MUCH better though. If it's really bad and you have NO change-time, just wear both a tampon and pad. Tampax Pearl + Always Ultra Thin is like.. the combination of champions.

We do. But only four minutes. My classes are all over the school this year and I don't have time to go to the bathroom.

I can't use ultra thins because my flow is too heavy. I don't plan on using tampons any time soon. My aunt's friend had TSS and almost died. Once you know someone who had it you never wear a tampon again. You just don't.

girl, if your flow is really that crazy heavy I recommend Always Overnights. I'm telling you, those things can hold a lot!

I hope this helps you out!

If you were to say excuse me miss my pad is full of blood I need to go change Im sure they will let you go.

TSS is a very rare thing to get from using a tampon.

...your teachers suck.

Especially if they're female. They should understand.

That makes me mad.

isnt there a policy that says females have to be let to the toilet?

Mmm, Always Ultra Thin Overnight has seemed best.

I have crazy heavy flow.

At night I used to have to wear disposable underwear ment for people with bladder problems. Grr.

Try getting on birthcontrol. Your flow will be lighter.

best thing i've found is to use tampons with a light pad to guard for leaks. And i feel cleaner using tampons.
