Well i've had offers surprisingly. But okay it dosnt matter what you look like as long as your not super super ugly but kay every agency and agent is looking for a different look i have seen some not so attractive girls. but one thing is you half to look confident and you half to be able to take insults because once your in the industry you will be shutdown .. Alot! they will insult you hardcore thats why im not a model i have a low self asteem i would suffer if ppl told me my hair is to thick or thin or if i was to fat or skinny but if you have any questions on anything just ask =]

Not true. Beautiful, pretty, unique, average and ugly are different things. No big modeling agency hires average girls, even if they're not super super ugly. Right now it's more about being unique alá Gemma Ward and less about being pretty alá Heidi Klum. Also, height is about 5'9 and up, and a slim figure is required (for high-fashion modeling. That is unless it's a one time thing when they hire fat, short, tall, thin, etc., like a Galliano show).

Well if you want to model you have to post a picture of youself. We have to see if your hot, or not. Modeling isn't easy, sooo many girls want to be models, it's not easy, those models work hard to be in the shape their in, and to look as good as they do.

if someone seriously wants to model and it isn't just phase thing, they will call agents and schedule interviews..and not ask people on teenspot.lol

First of all you have to have a good modeling face. According to what I've read, the ideal face is: oval shaped, high cheekbones, large almond shaped eyes, full even lips, straight white teeth, and a small nicely shaped nose. You also need clear skin and healthy hair. You do not NEED to be tall despite what mariyln might tell you. For runway modeling you need to be at least 5'7 although 5'9 to 5'11 is the ideal height. For print modeling you should be 5'5 to 5'7. There is though, something called petite modeling, for short girls. And no, you don't need to be "skinny". The best models have a healthy, toned, proportioned body. Lingerie and swimsuit models have curvy proportioned bodies with large chests and curvy butts. And also, remember there is such a thing as plus sized modeling. What is most important is knowing how to pose and walk, and confidence though. You have to be secure with yourself and be able to travel.

definitely agreed.
i've been scouted before and the guy said that the reason i caught his eye was because i had determination and confidence.
scouts see it like this: if you got confidence, then you must have something worth taking a look at.

anyways for anyone whos looking into modelling try

Yeah, if you don't have confidence, you definitely can't make it in the modeling or entertainment industry. I want to be an actress and I know it's something I have to work on. Modeling requires carisma, the ability to stand out and draw attention. Like when you walk in to a room, everyone just admires you and wants to be you. Also it takes being able to be places on time, get along with people, and have passion. Without passion, you'll never take a breathtaking picture.

The smallest height for runway is 5'8, and today, it's pretty much 5'9. Note that I answered as if she wanted to be a high fashion model, not a petite, catalougue or anything else "model".

If you don't have to be skinny, then why is every runway model so tiny?

For better or for worse, I think you're wrong about that.

because the taller you are the slimmer you are, and runway models are tall :)
that's what i figure.

hey, i have modeled for like 2-3 years now, and you have to have the figure and face. You need to be tall and thin and have curves, not just a thin strait ugly body. Keep your head high and walk like you know what you're doing. never let the photographer, crowd etc. know that you are nervous, anticipated or scared. If you are any of those, you will get over them.

Good luck on your modeling

I think you should send some pics to for example; Mikas. It could never hurt to try! :D

One of my best friend models
She is not one of those drop dead gorgeous girls but she has a really rare face with high cheekbones, full lips, icy blue eyes and a perfect smile. She is far more beautiful than sexy.

I'm sorry for changing subject but shit I'm too proud of her to shut up about it.

Not all runway models are tiny but a lot are. You don't have to be skinny for other types of modeling though.

I agree. I think it's gross when models have ugly, curvless, too thin bodies.

You can be a high fashion model and do photoshoots and not just runway. Also, there ARE runway models who are 5'7.

Yeah, but they have incredibly unique interesting looks, and they are very very VERY rare. Name 10 well-known ones, I can name 50 well-known ones over 5'9.

I've read a lot of your posts. You seem like a pretentious, egotistical, moronic ass. You've actually talked to me before. I'm Fayee. I doubt you remember.

Regardless, I dislike you and I think you're a fake peice of shit. My opinion of course.

I don't see why she would talk to you so I stated my opinion. Being she's someone I respect and like, I thought it best she shouldn't waste her time. If she'd rather converse with your like though, she has every right to.
