So, I have guessed that you know what I want to talk about. The Brazillain Wax. I am directing this thread to anyone that has had one...questions like how much it really hurts, how much it costs, how long does it last etc. Anything really that you can tell me will be appreciated.

I can't tell you the specific cost because when I go to get waxed I get a combination of areas done. It also depends on the person/shop.

I suggest starting with bikini waxes. The hair will take about 2-3 weeks to start growing back in the beginning, but the more you get it done, the longer it will take. Stick with the bikini area until the pain has become easier to handle then consider a brazilian. Some places will rub a cream on first to loosen the hair/lessen the pain; my esthetician only uses baby powder.

The worst of the pain will be around your labia, but it doesn't hurt much around your butt. It will be a painful experience and should take around 15 minutes.

Go to a reputable place and make sure you SEE their waxing license. My esthetician is licensed in pretty much every area of the field: waxing, nails, laser hair removal, tattooed make up, tanning, etc.

It hurts like crazy at first. I get full wax jobs regularly before shows and stuff, so I'm used to it but at first... dear God it hurts like a bitch. You'll get used to it though, and as said before, make surewhoever does it as a licence.

Thanks girls very much. I read on a site that if you take 2 advil 20 mins beofre you go in, it will make it less painful. Honestly, I can take pain quite well however i'll try anything to make the pain less!

They make u get into diff. positions to remove the hair from diff. places. OoOOo.......
