Now then.
resistancethingywotsit0001 is my graph done in accordance with question 1.
Does anyone notice something wrong with c2? I thought filament lamps sloped off, not got steeper? Given the current state of education in the UK, I doubt that this will have been a deliberate trick.
I also think I've made a complete balls-up of Questions 2-6.
It's not as if it matters. I seriously doubt anyone else in my class will have understood it. But I would like other people's take on this.
If the actual exam's like this. You will never hear me talk about dumbing-down ever again.:eek2:

a filament lamp graph should look like a sloped f throught the point (0,0) and es it should start to level off tho i didnt do very well on my electrictiy section on my as exam lol but im sure the filament graph is wrong unless it levels out futher on

the graph is supposed to look like that if the experiment is done quickly with like a 12V lamp. it shows the resistance increases as more current goes through it, which is really due to temperature increase but thats besides the point.
2. c1 is the resistor
3. you circled it
4. use r=v/i and just plug in numbers. best fit line is better method
5. look at the graphs
6a. high
b. more energy to each coulomb means more energy left in the filament
c. lot
d. atoms vibrate due to heat.

That's alright. Pretty much my answers bar possibly 4. Thank you Cr0nu5.
I still don't get the steepering line for the filament lamp. Oh well. I can have a good whinge tomorrow at school.

Secondary School.
We are in school years. This is the equation we use.
Age - 5 = School year
I am 15. 15 - 5 = 10. I am in year 10.

My country based its educational system on the British, being a former colony and all, but we started from Year 1 to 6 (primary school), and then Form 1 to 6 (secondary school).
