I don't watch reality shows but as soon as I heard the concept... all I could think was "If the minorities lose... someone is going to cry racism and sue."

The first chart stating the differences in IQ is from 1987. The most recently updated one doesn't even present a mean, yet the difference is only stated as:

That being so, as the authors of the data have not reached a consensus on whether or not the gap in IQ is or isn't closing, I find it safe to say that with African Americans often holding the upper hand when it comes to athletics, they shouldn't have too hard of a time with the competition. I would also like to point out a few more things. The article shows that Indians (not to be confused with Native Americans) often have rather low scores, yet when given the proper education they often score higher than most white (not to mention American in general students). If you take into consideration that the a greater percentage of African Americans don't finish high school as compared with white Americans there shouldn't be much of a question as to who will score higher. If there was a comparison amongst educated African Americans as well as educated White people, I'm sure the data (although outdated) would differ by a large number. Why do I bring this up? If you direct yourself to the survivor website you find that all of the African American contests are educated some even coming from prestigous colleges such as Georgetown University.

You have a lot of stupid people in every race and a lot of smart people in every race. but how can anyone accurately measure that? some people didn't have the same oppurtunities as others, so it doesn't mean they aren't as smart, it just means they weren't taught as many things.
