okay so ive never tanned in a tanning bed and im going tomorrow.

i have olive/mediteranean(sp) skin, but its fair, but i dont burn

i was wondering if anyone knew how to "judge" for lack of a better word on how long to go based on skin type/color.

they'll usually give you a skin questionairre before you go in and give you a specific bed and time depending on how you score on it. or just ask. curiosity is better than a nasty burn.

tanning is stupid, but then again i have naturally nice italian spanish skin (;

If it's your first time, only go for 7 minutes. Then you can increase the time, but usually if it's your first time- you should go for 7 minutes.
