You need parental consent if you're under 18. I think you should tell your mom hw you are being teased and convince her. I support rhinoplasty all the way, but make sure if you do get the surgery that they only work with the bone and NOT with your cartiledge. When they mess with the cartiledge it always ends up looking toooo fake.

I know I tried that, but whenever I bring it out she totally blocks me out and ignores me. She says that school is for studying and learning, not about making friends.

Try talking to your dad, you only need the consent of one parents.

I was going to get breast augmentation and my mother says if I decide to do so, we wont tell my father.

And your mom sounds way cool. :) I wish my mom was more like that. But she wont eve let me get ear surgery for my big ugly ears that stick out. But I rather Have the nose job over the ear surgery cuz I can always hide my ears with my hair.

I accpet myself. but others dont. I get teased constantly...I get embarressed all the time. And when someone teases my nose, everyone gasps because its such an huge insult. and they all look at me. and i never have any comeback to say except for grow up.............

If you want it done go for it. One of my better friends had a nose job and it was about a week and a half recovery time it made her look so much better and made her alot more confident. Im not sure how you would work over your mom but if you do i think you would be pleased with the results. I had work done it was a none nose job for my 18th birthday, so i kind of know what its like i would say go to a surgeon that is licensed in plastic surgery. Most plastic surgeons arent licensed since they dont need to be which is kind of scary so make sure yours is licensed and go to one that provides you with in house recovery so there not throwing you out the door once your done but with nose jobs i think you would be out the same day or the day after it isnt a extended recovery time.

not so i can criticise. But just see what you mean, as i am not sure on how bad exactly your nose is. I have a friend who has a rather large nose, and people used to tease her about it but now she just lives with it and everyone got over it.
I am not a massive fan of plastic surgery but if it is going to make you feel better about yourself then i think it is ok.
I definitely think you should learn to accept yourself a lot better as well, although you say you do, i think that if you really did you wouldn't worry about what people say.
I used to get teased about my ears sticking out, and at one stage i was going to get them fixed, but now im a model and have a lot of upcoming jobs so it really doesn't matter.

The actual minimum age ADVISED is about 23 for women, when youre pretty much set lookwise. Theres always a change of your nose still changing.
Health insurance usually doesnt cover plastic surgery because its COSMETIC surgery, so Im not sure what you should do money wise.. youre too yonug to work until you turn 16.

The work my best friend and I had done went over well at school so yours most likely would to. Alot of people here are against plastic surgery but if you have a means to improve yourself you should take it and be the best you can be, if its surgery or taking care of your body you should go for it.

I wouldn't do it if I were you.Trust me,I used to really HATE my nose(and even get comments about it sometimes),but now as it has grown a little and I've become older,I've become more confident with it and accept it.My boyfriend even loves it,lol,he thinks it's cute..While I still can't see that,I accept it.There is always gonna be something about you that you will dislike.Something that is different from other people,but that is what makes you you,an individual.So I advise you not to do it and stop caring what other people say and start loving yourself for who you are and what you look like.

What is the problem with little girls and perfection? Seriously, looking like the magazines... pfft, just sad. Cause its NEVER GONNA HAPPEN.

If I had some noticeably unattractive facial feature, I would get plastic surgery (by a reputable surgeon, of course).

The only reason I can't get one is that I can't pinpoint exactly what's wrong with my face. All of it is just weird...and I can't very well get a whole new face.

In my opinion, you should be able to do what you want with your body. In the end, if things fuck up, it's no one else's business. It has nothing to do with anyone but you.

If you think getting plastic surgery will make high school and life in general more enjoyable for you, try explaining it to your mum. It really shouldn't matter if she thinks it's fake. It's not her body. I'm sure she wouldn't want you to be miserable throughout high school.

This an acctually be a GOOD thing in your life. It toughens your skin, and you acctually see that it's not that bad.

I'm sophmore. And how will they outgrow it? I will ALWAYS have a big nose. And I will be referred to a "big nosed" perosn. I HATE ITTT!!! IT's so embaressingggggggg. And i'll never outgrow it, u obviously dont know how much it bothers me.
