my hair is just plain and straight and i never do anything with it. i decided to curl it. i bought this curling gel that says curl activator. i wanna know if it's true that when you curl your hair its permanent and that you cant change it back, so if i dont like it when i do it i can change it back...anyone? thanks

I doubt a gel will change your hair permanently.

Curl activator doesn't work that way. Since your hair is so straight, it will probably give it a bit more bounce, if anything, and help your hair hold curls (from a curling iron). The only way to permanently curl your hair is to get a perm.

dont curl ur hair i have curly hair and it sucks i have to blow dry it every time to get it straight.

miami_guy is kinda right. When you style your hair to be curly, it usually looks waaaaaay better than natural curly hair. Unless you spend an hour on it every time you wash it, which I--like many people--don't/don't have time to/don't know how to do. Try a curling iron or something...how long is your hair?

Ok you just confused me... my hair is naturally straight, not curly. and i just cut it on august 29 which was tuesday. so it's not too short, a regular hair cut.

is it true you can just put gel on it and then use a comb to curl it?

Curling irons should work.

and g to sleep
the next day youll have curly hair
see if you like it
and if you love it
get a perm.

For a tempory curl just buy a curling ircon and before you go out, curl your hiar.

Just use a curling wand. Duh.

If you have absolutely no curl to your hair, a curl activator really won't help you. It only enhances natural curls. You could either get a curly perm, curl your hair with a curling iron, or make a wet bun and finger comb it for waves.
