Im a bridesmaid at a wedding on the weekend and I got acrylic nails done tongiht Gel ones? I dont know means nothign to me. There pretty bad a. because they hurt and b. I shouldnt wear them for work. They do look rpetty though.


anyone know a. why they hurt?
b. a way to keep them clean?
c. how to get them off if i cant keep them cleane?
and do they collect alot of bacteria. \

dip your finger in rubbing alcohol maybe? and you can buy remover. its from sally hansen i think (although there's probaby others.) its blue and it looks just the same as the orange/yellow dip-nail polish removers. you dip you finger in, and it disolves the arcrylic nail. but it honestly takes like and hour.

Go to the salon to remove your nails after the wedding. It cost like 10 or 15 bucks. And they shouldn't hurt too long, I would say it sohuld only the day your get them because theres a lot of pressure. And no they do not collect bacteria unless the slaon lady you got did it wrong. But if you take them off right after the wedding theres relaly no risk. Also since your a pericer, dont u wear gloves?

yea i had those, and they just got annoying after a while, i missed seeing my real nail..Lol so i just got them taken off at the salon place..but it only took about 15 mins

Yes. I wear 3 pairs of gloves but there still has to be some amount of personal hygiene.

yes wash your hands? other than that it's just like ur reg. nails.
