My friend has this mole on her face and I think it looks really nice because it is like a beauty spot. Anyway a few months ago someone pointed out to her she had a hair growing out of it. Now she plucks it regualrly. The problem is that I read somewhere that this is really bad for you and even though I told her this she still does it because she says she has no other option. Does anyone here know why you shouldn't pluck hair from a mole and if there are there any other ways to remove the hair. Also if anyone else has similar problems can you please share it with me so I can let my friend read it to show her she is not the only one. Thanks :)

Someone told me once that if you pluck the hair from a mole it grows back double the amount there was before or something like that

maybe she should just cut it really low instead of plucking it

apparently it can increase the risk of cancer, but im not sure that is true.

I said this to her too and she said that she used to do that but it grew in noticeable the next day. She also said that she now had 2 hairs coming outof her mole and both of them are much thicker than her original one hair that grew out of it. Any other help??????

well my friend have this problem...and she go to the hospital to take the mole off...I heard it's a little bit hurt...

Well my guess is,if it's not a dangerous mole(as in risk of skin cancer) then it shouldn't be a problem plucking the hair from it since its just skin with pigment in it..
