David Fincher directed two of my favourite movies, SE7EN and Fight Club. What was everyones' thoughts on the two movies if you have seen them?

Is there any certain elements to the movies you liked?

meh, both films are good, but like so many other great films, they're ruined by thier obnoxious, pretencious fanbases, mostly people who REALLY missed the point, however that's not David Fincher or the films' fault. no one can control how thier audience reacts, it's just damned annoying.

I love love love Fight Club. And the book. For Se7en, though, I watched that when I was in Mexico (very sick), so I only remember certain parts.
...I should probably watch it again.

Se7en is definitely one of the greatest crime films ever made.

Lighting, cinematography, costumes, script, direction, art-direction, acting, editing are all top notch in Fight Club. Overall though, Fight Club is complete bullshit. "Anti-corporate movies funded by corporations always make me wary."

I think that is the case with Fight Club. However I don't think it was so much the same with SE7EN. Well over here in Australia SE7EN wasn't reallly all that popular from what I have seen.Se7en is definitely one of the greatest crime films ever made.
