I just finished up my school year a few weeks ago, and I have something thats been bothering me for a couple years:

It pretty much started in 9th grade, but heavily this year its been distracting how i act and everything. The thing is, is that I feel a lot more comfortable in lighter colored clothes than dark ones. What I call school days that I wear dark blue jeans with shirts that dont really match with my white shoes and those jeans are called "off days". It may seem very odd, but its true. It is something that i have noticed for the last few years. Every single time I wear those dark jeans, I have an off day. I dont know why. Maybe its because I look better in lighter colored jeans, like heavily bleached. Do you guys know if this is normal or what?

Every day that I wear my favorite jeans, a lighter colored pair and that aren't hard fabric, but soft ones, then I end up having a good day. A real good day. So, does anyone know if this is normal or what?

That's strange. I do have my preferences about what I wear, but I don't think it really affects my day all that much. When I wear jeans that I don't like the fit of (too short, too tight, etc), I do feel self-conscious about it all day and am uncomfortable though...so I dunno, I guess it does have an affect.

i know, like say for an example that a monday or tuesday i wear dark blue jeans with a regular, point zero brand shirt... with my white shoes, its not gonna be a great day because what will happen is that people will not wanna talk to me, or ill act extremely tired that day, i wont talk to as many people, i wont be kool to hang out with, i wont have a good day academically, etc.

however, if i wear my favorite jeans, which were a real bleached pair until they got torn, then recently they have been a little darker pair, but still my style. anyways, ill have a good day, like more people will want to talk to me, ill talk more, ill acually be kool hanging with people, ill think more, i wont be as tired, etc. so, i dont know wtf is going on.

when i went school shopping in the summer of 2005, i bought 2 pairs of those dark jeans i was talking about because i thought they would go good with my long sleeve shirts unbuttoned. but, i was wrong. i cant remember one good school day when i wear those dark jeans. just to hopefully prove it wasnt just those 2 particular pairs, i went out and bought another couple pairs, a little ligher, but not as soft fabric as my best ones. i've had bad "off days" with them too. so, if i went out and bought lighter colored jeans that were comfortable and softer fabric and looked kool and everything, then i can already tell you that im gonna have a really good day.

thats just the way it is for me. i know its very strange, but i dont know why.

Darker colors hold more heat.
Lighter colors are much cooler.
