I'm just curious on how many other people enjoy eating Sushi/Sashimi, etc. It's personally one of my favorite foods: it's fresh, its light and its pretty tasty.

I don't know the names, but the ones with the shrimp sticking out are amazing. And california rolls and similar ones are awesome, NOT boring.

I never tried Sushi and ..I won't ever let get it near my mouth. I really dislike it even though I haven't tried it. I wouldn't eat it for one hundred dollars. :l

I like sushi and sashimi. The only problem I have with it is it's so expensive here. Chinese and Thai restaurants offer much better value for money then Japanese.

As long as it's dipped in a load of spicy sauce to mask the rawness, I love it.

I need a glass of milk with it though, to stop the burning. If you've eaten something too spicy DON'T drink water, it makes it worse. You need something fatty like milk. That's why a lot of people put yoghourt on curries at home, the fat numbs the spiciness.

omg sushi is SOOOOO YUMMY!!!! my fave rolls are california because they are really simple and delish, and then this roll, cant member what its called, its got crab, avacado, salmon, and just enough wasabi. all paired with a crunchy, sweet seaweed salad! omg im drooling just thinking about it!!!!

You haven't eaten sushi untill you eaten sushi in japan... It tastes completely different, and there's no variations. It's just a ball of rice with some sort of fish on top. It's brilliant. I love sushi, but Sushi from a nice place in Japan is just a cut above any other sushi you'll ever eat.

Haven't tried it, I don't think I ever will. It sounds really grouse.

I love sushi...Eat it almost every weekend... My fav being a BC roll and toro. I also like the dragon roll but its a bit expensive.. but eunagi (sp?) is so good..

Sushi is so good! I personaly like the spider roll. I love the soft-shell crab that's in it. I also like the more traditional Nigiri and Maki. ^_^

not really. I went to Japan and ate sushi both here and there.
both of your pictures are eaten in both places... its just that the Japanese don't eat the California rolls as often (your second picture) because its not raw fish - its not real sushi.
buuut they can put raw fish into the rice and seaweed roll and they eat that a lot.

so if you haven't figured it out yet, yes I absolutely love sushi.

I've had it.. Tasted a lot of different things. I found it relatively disgusting.

actually, you'd be surprised how many calories it actually has in it. you can easily eat like, 600 in one sitting with sushi if you aren't careful.

um i havent had real sushi. but ive had wut is called california rolls. and it is like cooked crab meat or tuna with rice adn seaweed aroudn it. with some good wasabi or ginger! its amazing!

I have never had it... one of the down sides to living in the boondocks of south dakota, there isn't really much diversity in the options of what you can eat. But the biggest town near us is becoming much more health friendly and has specialty shops and little restuarants and stuff like that, and I just saw the first sushi there that doesn't look repuslive and smell horrid, so this weekend me and my best friend are going to try it... I am pretty excited.
