Alright here is the deal I came into our midi lab like tuesday and fortress was off on my computer. So me being a complete dumb ass start right clicking right off the bat. We have some kicking flat screen moniters and I clicked on the desktop and there was a screen resolution bar so I go into that and not ever seeing it before and being stupid enough to think I wonder what this will do selected the highest resolution. And then my screen goes black and says Out of Frequency. So I set the resolution too high. NO problem fortess is off so I'll just go windows key and then u to shut down. Becuase maybe fortess would still be off, wrong. So in the process of trying to save fortess I saved the screen resolution. So now i can't do anything on my computer in there and we have a big ass composition project due today. Any ideas how I can fix it? With out getting chewed out for screwing with the computer? :help:

I can't think of anything to remedy the situation that isn't invasive.
If you don't know specifically what you're doing then don't touch it.

How the hell did you set it too high? Usually those come default as "Hide modes this monitor cannot display" Daaamn, man...woman....whatever you are.

Well fortess was off when I came in so that means that before that the tech guy was in there.

Don't do things without reason or purpose.
And it's Fortres, not Fortress.

Sometimes things that you are "supposed" to do are don't have meaning or purpose, either.
