No seriously? I have to ask this question. The name of the board is "Poetry and Literature" right? So why is it that every case of what I shall call, non-poetry, due to the fact that most of the non-poetry posts aspiring to be literature have no literary value. Why is it that every non-poetry post is almost completely ignored in favor of the psuedo poetry that people write? Some of the poetry written here does in fact have some merit but most of it is repetitive emotional clamberings from a pop-culture perspective.
What in the Fuck did I miss? I myself have posted non-poetry several times just to see what kinds of reactions I would get. To my surprise I have recieved no comments on any of the posts.

Many people prefer to read poems because they can usually relate to them in some way or another. There are still so many poems which get ignored, however i do understand where you are coming from completly.
