K, I have a problem with limewire. When I try to open it, it appears on the taskbar but the window doesn't come up. It started happening for no apparent reason about a week or two ago. I've reinstalled it twice, but no luck. The limewire FAQ suggested reinstalling java, which I did, but it still isn't working.
The strange thing it works fine on my sister's user account on the computer. It only seems to be me that's having the problem.
Any help would be appreciated.

I don't really know (even though I do have it >.<)
I think it's 'another computer' inside your own, and, you open Limewire files in there so you don't get virus' etc on your actual computer. Or so I gathered.

go to limewire.com, then click get it, or whatever it says. there should be an option for the 18.00 version(pro), or the free one

yeah i tried. They had like 7 things on the main page telling me to download but all of them were the one u gotta pay 4.

when limewire released the source, they made this..
Free, crossplatform, faster than limewire basic (but not as fast as pro).
Limewire is filtering search results now, frostwire removed the filter....
and you can get the source to poke around if you want.

Just use bit torrent. uTorrent is an excellent download client. torrent finder is an excellent search.
