Why dont you try centering all of those? I would assume out of the buttons on the bottom left hand corner, the middle one is an equalizer of some sort. Make sure that's not set to anything funky either, so that it's not making it have echos, deepened bass, washed out treble and the like.

I think there's a reset to defaults somewhere in the mixer.
