I have to write about a movie for english but im struggling to decide which one to actually write about, does anyone have any suggestions?

I would say American History X because it goes into hate and gives a lot of room for segway into other subjects.

the people who write papers on American History X get bad grades, y'know why? 2 reasons: 1: everyone fucking does it and 2: nothing is left to metaphore, nothing is unsaid, there is no actual depth to the movie its just a flick about hatred.

i wrote two essays on Oldboy and a thesis for a film scholarship on American Beauty, and i'm currently fiddling around with another thesis on A History of Violence.

just learn how to watch a film properly, then find one that has enough depth to write about.

This is the one I would do anyway but it's a personal choice.
Pick a movie that means something to you or one of your own favorites.

First it would help to know a little more about your assignment, such as why you're writing about a movie in the first place.

General suggestions:
1. Pick a movie you understand. Some movies have very deep ideas and if you understand them, awesome. Write about that movie. But if you don't understand, there's no point in picking a deep movie to impress the teacher.
2. Pick a movie you think you'll enjoy watching. Of course this isn't strictly for enjoyment/entertainment, but if you're going to do an assignment dealing with movies, it never hurts to have a little fun with it.
3. Pick a movie you think the teacher hasn't heard of. Then when you write your paper, you have the benefit of informing them about something they don't know about. If your teacher writes comments on your paper, they might say how cool it is that you were able to teach them something.

I Did Heathers a comedey about a clique a girls called the heaters ,all 3 of them are named Heather and 1 Veronica,Veronica secretly hates the Heathers,then she meets a boy named JD and falls in love with him ,her and JD go and kill 1 heather and two other populark ids and blame it on sucide.


BREAKFAST CLUB:
a very good movie about a group of kids from all different stereotypes have to sepnd a saturday together in Deteion,. You could write about the emotions that go throught them ovie or how the world is stereotypical.
