Just saw the directors cut and i loved it! , kind of confusing to me , but the second time , it all started to click , who else loves it

Yeah, it's one of my favorites... I didn't get it the first time either but the more I watch it the more sense it makes.

I think Donnie Darko is a fantastic movie! I liked the 'original' better than the director's cut, though.

such an incredibly over rated movie. so pretencious and overconvoluted for no reason other than to make angsty kids feel like they're in on some brilliant philisophical revolution. every time i watch a film, the same question must be asked: "what did this film say." and no matter how long i think, or how many times i see it, even after the second viewing, when i "figured it all out" it still has nothing valid to say, nothing new or profound, just alot of showy garbage from some "auteur" who thought he was gonnna make the next American Beauty.

Well I watched it once, and I REALLY did not get what was happening..but since I borrowed it, i cudnt watch it again to see what it was about...so I have yet to appreciate it for its potential value.

A-fucking-greed. This movie is just a load of shit. That's it. It's just shit after shit after more bullshit.

I found it interesting. Whether it did or didn't have any profound meaning doesn't really matter. It was just an entertaining movie.
