View Full Version : I have an interesting dilemma...

So, you may know, that I one day want to be a screenwriter/actor. And I have many ideas for movies...Many...One I was having is for a big-budgeted action film. But here's my problem, I have ideas for the villains of a film, but no idea whatsoever for a hero...

Here's my ideas for the film's central villains...

David Weston-A candidate for the US Senate. With a past that could destroy him. Back in the day, he was a 4-star general in the military. He fought in wars all over the world. But, he had a nasty habit of killing innocent people in foreign countries. And he covered it up, by killing off his own troops, and making it look like the two sides had killed eachother. In modern times, he has traded in working IN the military, for working FOR the military. By starting his own 'pharmaceutical' company-secretly making military grade chemical weapons to use on enemy countries.

Selina Poseida-A brilliant young scientist, who was hired by Weston's company to do research on a revolutionary new chemical that could have the power to allow soldiers to morph their bodies into various forms of water. Weston gave her three trials to prove that her new chemical would work, but the first two were failures. Not wanting these secrets to get out and ruin his chances for political power, Weston decided to shut Selina's laboratory down. But, Selina didn't want to go down as a failure. So she decided to give her chemicals one more test, on herself. The chemical was a success, Selina gained the ability to morph herself into water, mist, steam, and ice at will. Even though this experiment proved to be a success, Weston didn't want the citizens voting for him to find out about his experiments, so he shuts Selina's operation down anyway. This is a mistake, because Selina becomes enraged, and begins trying to think of a way to use her chemicals to mutate every person in the country in a twisted act of revenge.

Jason Faustus/The Reaper-Jason Faustus is an intern for David Weston. He's bright, intelligent, young, and naive. He wants to have a career in politics one day, and looks up to Weston as an idol. But, one night while delivering some paperwork to Weston's campaign headquarters, he stumbles across a file containing documents that link Weston to his chemical warfare experiments. And Weston finds him in the office, along with the file. Not wanting his secrets to be exposed, Weston tries to murder Jason by injecting him with a syringe, filled with an experimental drug, causing Jason to O.D., then Weston pushes him out a window, into a lake. But, all of this doesn't kill him. Instead, Jason wakes up, and discovers he has a new ability(thanks to the drug Weston filled him with) to create and manipulate fire at will(even being able to use it to grab things from across the room, and grab people-like with a flaming tentacle). He throws a black hooded costume together and begins killing off corrupt Politicians and government officials, all of them linked to Weston. The media gives him the name 'The Reaper.' He eventually catches Selina's eye and ends up joining her, together the two plan to exact a messed-up, and global revenge on the world that rejected them.

So, my problem is this, I have three villains. But no hero to match them against. So far the only thing I know, is that I want it to be a female heroine. So that she could have an emoptional attachment to Jason Faustus(so that fighting The Reaper would be more interesting...). But, I don't want her to be the stereotypical female hero(leather-clad, overly sexual, goes around talking with whispers and purrs, etc...), I want her to be a strong woman, who doesn't rely on sex and feminine wiles to kick ass. Possibly psychic powers...So she could fight fire and water easier...

Any thoughts/ideas?
