a) I am not a "poor person". I'm a college student. This means that I am paying a fuckton of money for tuition and housing and all those other kinds of expenses. If I want a purse, I'm not going to go to Wal-mart and pay $10 for it, but I'm not going to throw away between $150 and upwards of $500 for a bag.

b) Even if I was a poor person, you owning a Coach bag or whatever would not justify you being more awesome than me. It would, however, justify you being more materialistic than me.

Look, if you think people who don't have the "high-fashion good quality" stuff are cheap, then you're a snob. I'm sorry if you're parents ignored you or whatever, but I really don't think that excuses your attitude. And lucky you that you've got parents to pay your way through college. I mean, mine are helping me out the best they can, but my brother'll be in college in a couple years too and eight years of college at $15,000 per year just isn't managable for the average family.
