:eek2: I have REALLY REALLY TERRIBLE bacne and I've only had it for a little over a year. Before that I never had more than a couple of bumps every now and then on my back. I've tried and/or am trying all kinds of things like Clean and Clear blackhead scrubs, Neutrogena body scrub, spot treatments, etc. and nothing is really working. A few bumps will disappear after like a week or something, but the majority of them still remain. Does anyone know what might work to get rid of ALL the acne on my back??? Has anyone else had this problem and gotten rid of it? Prom is April 29th and my dress is practically backless, so I'd like to have it gone by then....

"Back- acne."

Go to your doctor and ask for a body wash with either salicylic acid or benozyl peroxide in it. Should be gone in about a month.

I don't have a dermatologist and I don't even think our insurance covers any of it, and that beside the point, I don't have a month and I'm stuck with OTC stuff anyway....

You can go to your chemist and ask for something along the lines of Hibi-Scrub it works good. Ask your doctor what could help or you pharmasist.

Usually if you just talk to your regular doctor, he can prescribe you something that will be covered by your insurance, unless it's really bad or has unusual circumstances. I also recommend showering before you go to bed, using antibacterial soap or body wash, and exfoliating with something like apricot scrub 2 or 3 times a week.
