Which do you prefer? I actually think that indie flicks are so much more better.

Neither.

There have been fantastic big budget movies, and fantastic low budget movies.

The budget does not dictate storyline, acting ability, dialogue, etc.

For every Clerks or Pi, there are hundreds of really crappy 'indie' movies.

I don't think that the genre or status of a movie makes a difference to how good it is
though I tend to see more indie films because they're just so different and more interesting.
But I do love other films that have been big budget movies.
Movies are just awesome really. :nerd:

yeah i'm with Frank and Elationeering, although i wasnt huge on Clerks. recent films like Collateral and Oldboy are fantastic, and have large budgets, and other films like A History of Violence and Brick are independant and limited in thier release, but are absolutely stunning.

on the other hand, there are alot of Micheal Bayes who throw away money on overwrought stupidity, and crap like Foolproof or Shark Boy and Lava Girl or anything by Tyler Perry or the Wayans Brothers which are made on minimalist budgets and suck my ass, although Shark Boy and Lava Girl is slightly forgivable, as Robbie did that shit for his kid.
