sooo
i cooked but most likely it becomes a disaster
i made cheesecake and lasnage and i bought my own ingredients for mother's day
the cheesecake was merely saved by delicious custard
hmmm
so what about you guys?
does your school do food classes? can you cook or is your mum a food slave? would you like to learn how to cook?

i love cooking. i insist on making at least one meal out of the day completely from scratch, and with the exception of icecream, i bake all of my own deserts as well.
i even considered going to culinary school a few times, being that i love to cook so much. m

My school does food classes... except I ditched it two years ago, because I hate cooking. I'm not gifted at it, and my idea of cooking is putting a slice of bread in a toaster. I'm lucky if I don't burn that!
I suppose I just choose not to cook. I mean, I could learn if I wanted... I just don't want to! I might try and learn some of the basics during the summer...

I'm OK at cooking. I bake a lot, and occasionally I do a meal. My school does HE, which is cooking, but also all the hygiene and healthy eating crap. So I don't take it anymore.

I'm pretty good at cooking/baking, not fancy pansy meals, but regular food.
I got 11 in cooking class in elementary school (11 = A, I think; right below the best).

I can cook microwaveable stuff, and make grilled cheese and soup, but that's about it. I'm not a recipe sort of person.

I love to cook but i havent really learned how to cook many things, partly because of the fact that most of the ingredients that are need in that certain recipe, are not in my house and i dont feel like going to the store and buying the ingredients at the store to cook one meal. And yes my school does have cooking classes but no one that i know takes the class after school so i dont stay to take it.

i can cook to a limit. i hate cooking
People at my current place of employment that don't know me that well mistake me for a chef that's 25 years old with a Bachelors Degree in Culinary Arts. And indeed, I'm a very good cook, but at my work, my specialty is Steaks/Meats. Especially my prime rib. Not that they're all that hard, but god it's good.
I can do anything on the barbeque, salads, some pasta sauce, pasta, eggs, bacon... And that just about wraps it up.

Everybody in my house knows how to cook and we just make whatever we want whenever for ourselves.
On occasion though I do like to make dinner for everyone just to show off and get some very need praise.

I suck at cooking. Which sucks because I'm Mexican, so I'm supposed to be able to cook all that sort of stuff and be a "good" housewife. My grandma said so, anyways.

APPRENTICE CHEF - okay heres my few words of wisdom, add spices, and when it ocmes to spices, ifit smells good USUALY, it tastes good. some thingsjust dont taste good with other things, but if you like the smell, it will inhanse the taste.
okay, heres how you cook pasta, trust me the head chef at where i work told me this, i tried it and its GREAT. okay when making Pasta make sure the water is almost like sea water, thats how salty you want the water.
thats my bit of info i have for now.

My mom is a gourmet chef, and both my parents have taught me how to cook for myself ever since the day I brought myself to brave a pan of hot oil.
I like baking much better than cooking though, I also do it alot more often and much better than cooking meals. When it comes to cooking, I like preparing the ingredients and preparing the serving of the food rather than sticking around to actually mix everything together, even if it's the easier part of the job. No clue why... no patience to stand and wait for things to simmer or boil the way I want it to I guess.
