I really dont get why people buy chlothes at wal-mart... All wal-mart does is make cheaper copies of "expensive" chlothes, but guess what???? Wal mart sells like for the same prices in any other "expensive" store. Like american eagle , hollister , abercombrie & fitch , aeropostale and limited too , they are all in the range of shirts of 15-20$ , and 20-45$ for pants n such , so its kinda retarted , also jewerly , u can get brand fashion jewerly for like 5-30$ dollars , while wal mart makes cheaper copies of the jewerly and sells for almost the same!
So yeah , what is sup with that?? :eek2:

some people like the clothes at wal mart?
some people don't live near a mall with all those places in t hem ?
things are still cheaper at walmart than AE although AE is probably the only place comparable and that's when they have good sales. There is no way in HELL you can compare hollister and abercrombie to walmart though. There is a nice sized price differential.
t shirt walmart- $10
abercrombie- $29.90
aero- $10-$15
pants walmart- $15-$20
hollister- $65
aero- $25
ummm the abercrombie sweats Im sitting in were $60 compared to a $10 pair I could have gotten at walmart.
Aeropostale is comparable in prices too, but you know I've bought tanks and stuff from walmart, and I'm not a broke ass...and I'm sure I could have gotten the same thing at Aero.

Wal-Mart's clothes are generally cheaper than those sold at Abercrombie, Hollister, American Eagle, etc, unless you get their stuff on clearance.
It's all about personal preference. I personally don't wear Wal-Mart clothes, just because I don't believe that they fit as well as those from other, more expensive stores.

i say wear whatever you feel good in. personally, i don't wear wal-mart clothing, but for those who do and look cute in it, then props to you. if i ever went in wal-mart and saw something that i thought was particularly cute, i would probably get it. it hasn't happened yet, but i'm sure it will.
but if you want clothes for less, i much prefer target over wal-mart.

Well...I wouldnt exactly wear Wal-Mart clothes but I', not gonna go out and buy a buy of $40 sweatpants from Hollister AE or Abercrombie when I could buy a pair just as good for 10 bucks at Wal-Mart. Wal-Mart is cheaper than most stores and if that is all a person can afford, than who is anybody to say that those clothes aren't good enough. Many people in this world can't afford nice stores so I think that if they want to shop at Wal-Mart then let em shop!! I dont see a problem in it.

I work at Walmart so once in a while I might buy a t-shirt or two. As for the price thing, Walmart is definitely cheaper then any brand name store.

I like walmart. It's better than buying a $70 pair of jeans at hollister or some other store like that. I don't shop there a lot but I think it has cute stuff.

I think Wal-Mart shirts are generally the ugliest things on earth. I don't buy them there mainly for that reason. I'd rather buy a band t-shirt (usually about twice as expensive as the average Wal-Mart t-shirt) or go somewhere like Target or JCPenney. As long as I have the money to spend, my parents usually won't mind the slightly higher price of these stores.
With that said, the jeans are essentially the same as those stores you named. The main differences are that they don't have the fancy name and are far cheaper. I'd be hard-pressed to find any difference worth spending up to $50 more to get. There must be something that appeals to their customer base, though. *shrugs*
I can't say I know about the jewelry. It's not an area of interest to me; I don't have a need for it at this point in life.
For a lot of people, price considerations are more important than what you bring up, hence a major reason for Wal-Mart's success. Wal-Mart's customers don't have the money to be socially (which is a whole post unto itself) or fashionably conscious, whereas customers of stores like AE would likely have the money to focus on other factors.

I'm boycotting Walmart so I don't buy anything from them-and won't even go into the store to use the bathroom-but I know what you're saying. Basically what they do is sell clothes that are similar to the better quality stores but made using less care...which would explain the lower costs. Even when I did shop there a year ago or something I wondered what the point was, especially since I had easy access to a Target where clothes were better made and better looking.

Walmart's okay. I like some of their stuff. I'm not always too big on their clothes, but some of it's nice. I buy most of my clothes at thrift stores though. Usually, the only thing I'll buy at Walmart is CD's.

Well its not like i can't afford other clothes but I did find a pair of cute jeans and tank top there the otherday. Some of there stuff have to admit are quite ugly, but maybe thats just caus ei hate shirts that are like "cutie" or "100% angel"...they just really bug me. BUt i mean i found 20 buck jeans and they are ok, but i got this really cute blue sequined tank top for like 12 bucks and i got a bazillion compliments. I do have to say they have some really cute flats too. But generally I wouldn't do all my shopping there. But what ever do a combo of ae, hollistor and walmart and you look cute, still have a few bucks in your pocket and aren't nessacarily labled as one of those girls who people know to only wear one brand.
In regards to making nice clothes and cheaper...well duh thats the point, thats why people do buy their stuff. Like my tank was 12 bucks opposed to a similar one i saw else wear for like 40 bucks...whats the problem with that, its not like anyone is goign to go look at your tag... :chicken:

Abercrombie and aeropsotale and hollister isn't expensive. It's normal. Dolce & Gabbana, Moschino, Versace etc., THAT'S expensive but i think all those other brands are like cheap..

wall mart clothes never fit correctly and i always find htey wreck easily. on the other hand at a place like american eagle i find barely better quality clothes that do look nice, but they're way overly priced. its just not fair! hah

As long as it's cute, I'll buy it.
I don't really care where I'm buying it from if I like it.
Though, I don't usually spend a special day cloths shopping.
If I do, I only hit up Aeropostal and A&E cause those are my 2 favourite stores.
But if I'm like, passing something by, and I see something cute, I'll buy it.
Even at walmart.
cute is cute.

Hmmmmmm, interesting. If I did say anything about Abercrombie and all those other mainstream stores being expensive unless you're rich, I'm saying it because I HAVE been in there at least once. True they aren't the most expensive places to shop-definitely not as expensive as the designer stores that one person mentioned- but compared to where I always buy clothes they aren't exactly reasonable either.
