It sucks becuase it's simple, and attracts simple minds. Bands like Slip Knot have no musical talent, they just strum simple cords and yell meaningless lyrics. The only thing that makes them "popular" is their image and even that is pathetic. I believe one must learn music and the work necessary to make it, to have an appreciation for it.

Plus.. if you think that Goth and Emo are anywhere near similar enough for you to not be sure which one you are.. You *definitely* aren't a Goth.

Good thing I dont like slip knot then ^^ i really cant stand 'screamo' music. the only band of them I like is bullet for my valintimes coz when the **** assed guitarist isnt screaming, the lead singer actually sounds good.
