Lamination .. that does sound pretty damn irresistable. :pink:

..Anyways! Your hair may be overly damaged by harsh hair products or styling tools if it's not naturally frizzy. If you think that maye be the case you should go to a professional hairstylist and have your hair trimmed. They can also suggest a good hair moisturizer or defrizzing gel for your hair.

^^ too much shampoo dries the crap out of hair. I wouldn't recommend doing that.

As for shinyness, I have the perfect solution. It's kinda messy (and smells pretty gross) but it works.
Since I'm in synchronized swimming, I have to but Knox Geliatine (cooking gel) in my hair for competitions. And when I rinse it out, my hair is really soft and shiny.

What you have to do, is just take two little packets of gelatine powder and mix it with boiling water (just enough to make it a thick and a little pasty). Put your hair up in a but, and use a paintbrush to apply it on your hair (I'm totally not puling this out of my ass). When you're done applying it, you can dry it with a hair dryer if you want, so it's not all sticky and goopy.
Leave it in your hair for a couple of hours, and then rinse it out. Just stand under the shower, with hot water to melt the gel (scrub it too). Then you can shampoo and condition.
Make sure to get all the gel put though, or it isnt very nice (but it'll come out in the next wash).

Good luck.

OK...here is a quick and easy way to fix this. My hair is the same way...thick, dry, dull, frizzy.

Bath and Body Works makes a hair serum called Bio Straight and Sleek Serum. You put it on wet hair and it makes it shiny, unfrizzy, and very soft.

Another product that will do the same thing is John Frieda Frizz Ease Hair Serum. All these products will make your hair shiny, smooth, and soft. It's so easy too! All you have to do is just put a few pumps on to wet hair and then dry/straighten it.
