I can do geometry on my arm
Hopscotch, squares, and circles
Tic tac toe
X marks the spot
Dig it deep
Make it bleed
Sweet crimson life
Leave me now
I set you free

Butterfly with a broken wing
Fly away
Blown in the wind

Maybe I'll show you
Make you sorry for hurting me
I'll teach you a math leason
With the shapes I carve
Circle, 360 degrees
Connect that with a line
Play a game with my life
180 degrees strait line through the X

Next time you'll know
That I meant every word I said

Broken heart
Millions of little shards
Shape of triangle
Three points
All so sharp
Stabbing at me

Square me
Add me to me squared
More blood
Take the square root
This is equal to a mess
This mess you've made of my heart
It's all wrecked
Broken things everywhere

It was suposed to be special
But you turned it upside down

Octogon
Stop sign
Take the knife
But no, you don't
You're sleeping in class
You don't care to learn math

The pathagrean therom of my soul
Half a circle because without you
I can't be whole

There are two sides to this story
Oh my how do we solve this equation
Mine is X
Yours is Y
Lets graph the points
Over five
Up two
It's just a lie
There's nothing left inside me
Nothing left to cry
All I have to do
Is take the knife
And play geometry with my life. . .

Oh shit lol. That was real good. Its a first of all the poems i've read, considering what its really all about. When i first read the title, i was like what the fuck lol, but then i read it and i was like oh ok. I guess u don't judge a book by its cover for this one. Nice job.

Very interesting viewpoint on that subject. However, I don't get the second verse. What does a butterfly with a broken wing have to do with this subject?

By the way, the proper spelling is Pythagorean Theorem. *math nerd*
