jergens is the one im thinking about. theyre supposed to gradually give you a hint of color according to your skin tone (fair skin, medium skin)... but dose anyone know if they come out really orangey or streaky? how do you apply it smoothly? and what about your hands? how do you keep them from getting stained?

Nope, they don't come out orange or streaky at all (at least for me). You just apply it as you would regular lotion and wash your hands after.
