Love this movie. I bought the dvd when it was released. I've watched it like, 3 times this week, alone. I'm going to enter the poetry contest on that corpsebridedvd.com website to win one of the puppets up for grabs. How cool would it be to have that in your collection?

I have it too. I loved this movie. People compare it to Nightmare before Christmas but I've never seen that movie. My fave parts are when he goes to the Land of the Dead and also when they come up to the Land of the Living. I love the Rhett Butler skeleton with the old lady.

I loved his movie Big Fish. tim is really good. he reminds me of quentin tarrentino cus he is reinventing film. he adds a good twist. i liked this one more than nightmare since there was less singing. not big on musicals. the corpsebridedvd.com site was cool. i sent some e cards and entered the poetry contest

The music of Corpse Bride was what really made it enjoyable. And that was all thanks to Danny Elfman, who I believe worked on all of Tim Burtons films.

I still have to see Nightmare Before Christmas, but Big Fish was excellent.

Y'know, Corpse Bride is up for an oscar in the Animation field. Pretty sick, eh? They deserve it. Did you guys look at the dvd's "What makes the puppets tick?" feature? Very cool and you get to check out what the figures are made of and how they work.
As for the poetry contest, I entered. I didn't win, though. *shrugs* I tried. Woulda been hot to win one of those puppets, though.

I hope it wins the Oscar! The DVD is great I love all the special features and learning the process that went into creating this movie. It makes me appreciate it that much more. Some people say they thought Danny Elfmans music was flat in this movie but I think it's some of his best. I laughed histerically when I learned he did the voice for bonjangles. He and TIm Burton just have so much talent it's unbelievable.

Got the dvd myself, no doubt the best animation burton has ever accomplished. This movie took a whoping 4 years too make. You can tell they took so long making the animation look its most absolute perfect. I really admire this movie and its a great companion too the rest of my tim burton dvds.

Thanks for the link too corpsebridedvd.com, fascinating site and alot of cool corpse bride stuff too check out. Desktop maggot was a riot!

Damn, man. The Oscar went to Wallace & Gromit. Not Corpse Bride like I was hoping... I sent e-cards from that corpsebridedvd.com site to my friends to get 'em to come over to my house to watch the oscars. We had fun, but I was dissapointed when CB didn't win the oscar. I did see Tim Burton and his wife on the red carpet, though. His hair wasn't as crazy as it sometimes gets. It was just... sort of crazy~ haha.
